Export of salts and esters of citric acid from Japan drops in 2017

Organic chemicals export fell by 28.66 percent compared with 2016, according to updated data released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable decreased by 1 032 407.75 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 12.71%. Japan saw an increase of 489.91% in organic chemicals export during the last 30 years. Though, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.12% over the 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 4 037 765.27 US Dollar from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 6 678 033 US Dollar in 1999 and record low of 435 544 US Dollar in 1988.
