Gas and diesel refinery output in Mexico: Decrease in May 2018

According to data issued by JODI Data, gas and diesel oil production negligibly went down by 1.49 percent compared with the prior month. The variable diminished hardly by 10 thousand tonnes, versus the previous month when it climbed by 38.43 percent. The numbers reached 862 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a 7.88 percent fluctuation compared to April of the same year. This indicates a -23.43 percent variation between May 2017 and the same month one year later. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a decrease of 46.65%. Moreover, the gas and diesel oil production is now below average of 1 343.67 thousand tonnes with a moderate overall fall since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 1 937 thousand tonnes in May 2013 and record low of 361 thousand tonnes in February 2018.
