Gas and diesel refinery output in Mexico decreases in June 2018

In June 2018 gas and diesel oil production went down by 15.61%, according to refreshed figures announced by JODI Data. The indicator fell by 103 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 1.49%. In 2017, the variable was dropping by -17.29% and hit 713 thousand tonnes the same month in 2017. Year-on-year, this displays a -21.88% change between June 2017 and the same month the year after. Mexico saw a fall of 54.97% in gas and diesel oil production during the last 16 years. Besides, the gas and diesel oil production is now below average of 1 339.7 thousand tonnes with a moderate overall drop since the 2002. It attained its all-time high of 1 937 thousand tonnes in May 2013 and record low of 361 thousand tonnes in February 2018.
