Fuel oil demand in Algeria: Diminution in April 2018

Fuel oil demand dropped hardly by 3.23 percent compared to the month before, new figures from JODI Data constitute. Fuel oil demand negligibly fell by 3 thousand barrels, contrarily to the prior month when it increased by 66.07 percent. The previous year, this change attained 61.29% and the variable reached 150 thousand barrels the same month in 2017. This illustrates a -40% shift between April 2017 and the same month in 2018. Algeria saw a raise of 45.16% in fuel oil demand over the past 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 124.13 thousand barrels with a overall decline since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 248 thousand barrels in August 2005 and record low of 30 thousand barrels in April 2011.
