The variable greatly climbed by 9 112 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 47.92 percent. Canada saw a fall of 57.45% in cotton import over the past 28 years. Moreover, it has shown a 0.03 percent CAGR over the 5 years with a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 62 481.71 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 485 650 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 155 kilogram in 2009.
