Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Dominican Republic: Rise in 2016

According to figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the prior year horses import rose sharply by 33.28 percent. The variable strongly climbed by 55 040 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 348.13 percent. It illustrates the all-time high since 2001. Dominican Republic saw a raise of 567.88% in horses import over the past 16 years. Moreover, it has attained a 1.37% average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 2001. It averaged 43 923.94 US Dollar from 2001 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 1 250 US Dollar in 2008.
