Naphtha export in Spain: Fall in May 2018

Naphtha export dropped greatly by 63.8% compared to the previous month, new statistics from JODI Data highlight. The indicator diminished strongly by 24.8 thousand barrels per day, versus the prior month when it grew by 61.15 percent. When looking at 2017, it can be noted that the variable was diminishing by -36.8% and reached 9.19 thousand barrels per day in May. To sum up, the indicator was 53.13% higher in May 2017 than in May of the year after. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a fall of 60.18%. Compared with its average, the naphtha export is now lower as the mean equals 19.65 thousand barrels per day with a overall drop since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 62.3 thousand barrels per day in February 2018 and record low of 3.81 thousand barrels per day in February 2013.
