Import of gypsum and anhydrite to Germany: Decline in 2017

European Commission published that compared with the prior year gypsum import dropped by 19.61 percent. The indicator decreased by 226 660 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it increased by 15.74%. Germany saw a diminution of 67.97% in gypsum import during the last 23 years. Moreover, it has had a rise at a 0.23 percent CAGR during the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 2 153 906.09 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 6 966 620 Euro in 1999 and record low of 328 650 Euro in 2013.
