Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to France: Drop in 2016

Yarn import hardly went down by 1.64 percent compared to the year before, according to revised statistics issued by European Commission. The variable decreased barely from 62 928 072 Euro in 2015 to 61 896 740 Euro previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it grew by 2.3%. France saw a drop of 54.18% in yarn import over the past 17 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01% during the five years with a marginal overall diminution since the 2000. It averaged 91 320 990.35 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 135 074 304 Euro in 2000 and record low of 55 323 968 Euro in 2009.
