Import of curdled milk, cream, yogurt and other fermented products to Latvia: Increase in 2017

Compared with the prior year the variable climbed by 12.53%, according to data issued by European Commission. The indicator rose from 2 246 200 kilogram in 2016 to 2 527 600 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it fell by 17.72%. Latvia saw an increase of 51.43% in fermented milk import over the past 17 years. Still it has had a diminution at a 0.17% compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 3 723 082.35 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 6 587 700 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 1 669 200 kilogram in 2001.
