Commercial vehicles in use in Chile: Increase in 2017

In 2017 commercial vehicles in use climbed hardly by 3.43%, according to revised data issued by OICA. The variable grew barely by 46.95 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 3.56%. It reached its 13-year peak. The overall changes for the prior 13 years attained a rise of 73.47%. As well as it has shown a 0.03 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 101.52 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 815 thousand units in 2005.
