Import of flours, meals and pellets of fish for human consumption to Norway grows in 2017

According to adjusted numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office, fish import strongly grew by 273.06 percent in comparison to the prior year. Fish import went up sharply by 25 313 kilogram, versus the previous year when it went down by 6.11 percent. Norway saw a growth of 20 485.12% in fish import over the past 25 years. Moreover, it has had a rise at a 0.17 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 12 179.32 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 36 253 kilogram in 1998 and record low of 13 kilogram in 1995.
