Jet fuel import in Mexico: Decrease in June 2018

JODI Data published that in June 2018 jet fuel import diminished by 8.57%. The indicator went down by 141.84 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it fell by 5.83%. The figures hit 985 thousand barrels in June 2017, which is a -16.11% shift compared with May of the same year. Between June 2017 and the same month the year after, the data indicate a 53.6% change. Mexico saw a growth of 1 645.45% in jet fuel import during the last 9 years. In comparison with its average, the jet fuel import is now higher as the mean equals 478.12 thousand barrels with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 1 757.24 thousand barrels in April 2018 and record low of 15.76 thousand barrels in May 2013.
