Import of cotton yarn containing 85% or more by weight of cotton to Cameroon drops in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that compared with the previous year the variable decreased sharply by 62.83%. Cotton import went down strongly by 36 542 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 11.37%. Cameroon saw a decrease of 46.68% in cotton import during the last 22 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.12 percent over the last 5 years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 60 929.77 US Dollar from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 176 840 US Dollar in 1996 and record low of 4 291 US Dollar in 1997.
