Fuel oil demand in Austria rises in May 2018

Fuel oil demand slightly increased by 4.55% in comparison to the previous month, new figures from JODI Data indicate. The indicator hardly climbed from 22 thousand tonnes to 23 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it went up by 10 percent. The year before, this shift hit 35.71 percent and the fuel oil demand reached 19 thousand tonnes the same month the year before. Between May 2017 and the same month the year after, the statistics display a 21.05 percent change. The overall changes for the previous 16 years attained a diminution of 89.73%. Moreover, the fuel oil demand is now lower than its average which equals 67.78 thousand tonnes with a overall fall since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 224 thousand tonnes in January 2002 and record low of 8 thousand tonnes in May 2016.
