Export of fresh, preserved or cooked eggs from Sri Lanka: Raise in 2017

In 2017 the variable greatly grew by 35.71%, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. Eggs export sharply increased from 292 260 kilogram in 2016 to 396 632.81 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it diminished by 37.55 percent. Sri Lanka saw a raise of 97.47% in eggs export during the last 27 years. However, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.1 percent during the last 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 298 038.88 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 965 279 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 136 879 kilogram in 2009.
