Gas and diesel supply and demand balance in Portugal: Decrease in June 2018
According to updated data released by JODI Data, compared to the previous month the indicator fell sharply by 119.37%. Gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance went down strongly from -11.55 thousand barrels per day to 2.24 thousand barrels per day, in contrast to the prior month when it climbed by 40.76%. When examining the previous year, it can be announced that the variable was decreasing by -697 percent and hit -12.93 thousand barrels per day in June. When considering the year-on-year picture, a -117.31 percent decline can be diagnosed between June 2017 and the same month one year later. The overall changes for the previous 9 years reached a diminution of 171.68%. Furthermore, the gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance is now higher than its average which equals -2.84 thousand barrels per day with a overall stagnancy since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 18.53 thousand barrels per day in January 2016 and record low of -52.7 thousand barrels per day in December 2013.
