Export of black tea in packages less than 3 kg from Namibia goes down in 2016

According to updated data announced by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable fell strongly by 99.96 percent in comparison to the previous year. It reached its 17-year low as black tea export sharply decreased from 145 803 kilogram to 52 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it increased by 315.32 percent. Namibia saw a fall of 69.23% in black tea export over the past 17 years. Besides, it has shown a diminution at a 0.62% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall raise since the 2000. It averaged 22 214.82 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 145 803 kilogram in 2015.
