Fuel oil export in South Korea goes down in June 2018

Fuel oil export went down by 10.7 percent compared to the prior month, according to refreshed data presented by JODI Data. The indicator fell from 1 991.34 thousand barrels to 1 778.22 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 8 percent. When examining the year before, it can be diagnosed that the variable was declining by -4.21 percent and reached 606.06 thousand barrels in June. This shows a 193.41% variation between June 2017 and the same month the year after. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a drop of 64.64%. Likewise, the fuel oil export is now smaller than its average which equals 2 658.62 thousand barrels with a marginal overall diminution since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 7 252.74 thousand barrels in August 2006 and record low of 293.04 thousand barrels in May 2015.
