Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Italy increases in 2017

In comparison to 2016 yarn import climbed by 10.7 percent, according to statistics released by European Commission. The variable went up from 89 887 800 Euro to 99 509 776 Euro, compared to the prior year when it diminished by 5.31%. Italy saw a growth of 64.17% in yarn import during the last 23 years. Furthermore, the yarn import is now bigger than its average which equals 67 409 743.3 Euro and the indicator displays a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 108 655 584 Euro in 2011 and record low of 48 995 592 Euro in 1996.
