Production of urea containing more than 45% by weight of nitrogen on the dry anhydrous product in Lithuania: Decrease in 2016

According to refreshed statistics issued by European Commission, the indicator declined by 14.4% in 2016. Urea production fell from 294 660 416 kilogram to 252 240 976 kilogram, versus the prior year when it went up by 11.39 percent. The overall changes for the previous 9 years hit an increase of 26.18%. Though, it has attained a drop at a 0.05 percent average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 243 694 727.11 kilogram from 2008 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 332 798 720 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 147 606 880 kilogram in 2010.
