Chromium consumption in Zimbabwe: Increase in 2017

In comparison to the prior year chromium consumption grew by 9.74 percent, according to updated figures issued by U.S. Geological Survey. The variable went up by 15 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 10.79%. It attained its 15-year high. Zimbabwe saw a growth of 134.72% in chromium consumption during the last 15 years. Besides, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.09% over the last 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 94.85 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 1 thousand tonnes in 2010.
