Export of prepared or preserved fish from Sri Lanka: Rise in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in 2017 processed fish export went up strongly by 281.73%. Processed fish export sharply rose by 3 065.17 kilogram, versus the prior year when it dropped by 71.64 percent. The overall changes for the previous 25 years attained a decrease of 38.22%. As well as it has attained a drop at a 0.36 percent CAGR over the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the 1993. It averaged 6 261.05 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 40 204 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 1 088 kilogram in 2016.
