Buses and coaches production in Japan: Drop in 2017

According to data presented by OICA, in comparison with the previous year the indicator declined negligibly by 0.87 percent. Bus production hardly fell from 12 288 in 2016 to 12 181 prior year, versus the previous year when it climbed by 7.55%. The overall changes for the prior 21 years reached a fall of 18.3%. Besides, it has attained a growth at a 0.05% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 11 529.14 from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 25 174 in 1998 and record low of 7 820 in 1999.
