Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Spain falls in 2017

The indicator went down sharply by 77.94 percent in comparison with the prior year, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. Horses import dropped greatly by 515 874.03 kilogram, in comparison to the previous year when it grew by 2 284.21%. Spain saw a growth of 139.93% in horses import during the last 29 years. As well as it has had a 0.76% CAGR over the five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 128 842.17 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 323 444 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 3 565 kilogram in 1993.
