Fuel oil refinery output in Austria: Fall in May 2018

In May 2018 fuel oil production went down by 24.19%, revised numbers from JODI Data present. The indicator fell from 12.9 thousand barrels per day to 9.78 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it diminished by 34.04%. One year earlier, the variable was going up by 220.1 percent and reached 35.79 thousand barrels per day in May 2017. This highlights a -72.67% fluctuation between May 2017 and May 2018. Austria saw a diminution of 58.4% in fuel oil production during the last 16 years. Likewise, the fuel oil production is now below average of 17.74 thousand barrels per day with a overall fall since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 35.79 thousand barrels per day in May 2017 and record low of 3.75 thousand barrels per day in August 2011.
