Export of oats from Thailand: Decline in 2016

Oats export dropped greatly by 80% compared with the same time a year ago, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator diminished sharply by 12 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 95.65%. The overall changes for the prior 26 years hit a decline of 99.98%. Moreover, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.44 percent during the five years with a slight overall drop since the 1991. It averaged 9 908.73 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 109 445 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 1 kilogram in 2001.
