Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Jordan falls in 2016

According to data presented by United Nations Statistical Office, horses import dropped by 18.18 percent compared to the previous year. The indicator decreased by 2 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 21.43 percent. Jordan saw a drop of 78.05% in horses import during the last 22 years. Likewise, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.76 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 858.45 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 10 658 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 6 kilogram in 1998.
