Import of flax yarn not packaged for retail sale to Netherlands: Fall in 2017
Flax yarn import declined sharply by 47.44% in 2017, according to revised statistics published by European Commission. The indicator diminished strongly by 281 070 Euro, contrarily to the prior year when it grew by 9.23%. Netherlands saw a fall of 2.97% in flax yarn import during the last 15 years. Besides, it has shown a diminution at a 0.21% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 723 580 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 2 432 240 Euro in 2011 and record low of 161 560 Euro in 2008.
