Investment of rural hydropower construction completed this year in China falls in 2017

According to numbers announced by China National Statistical Office, compared with the prior year the variable decreased by 13.57%. The indicator declined from 2 493 935 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi to 2 155 429.12 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 19.1 percent. China saw a rise of 517.87% in hydropower construction over the past 28 years. However, it has attained a decrease at a 0.09 percent CAGR over the five years with a modest overall raise since the 1990. It averaged 2 652 110.38 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi from 1990 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 117 926 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi in 2007 and record low of 348 848 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi in 1990.
