Investment of rural hydropower construction completed this year in China: Diminution in 2016

Compared to the prior year hydropower construction declined by 19.1 percent, according to new numbers announced by China National Statistical Office. The indicator decreased from 3 082 737 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi in 2015 to 2 493 935 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 2.79%. China saw a rise of 614.91% in hydropower construction over the past 27 years. Still it has shown a decline at a 0.07 percent CAGR over the last 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 2 670 505.98 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi from 1990 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 5 117 926 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi in 2007 and record low of 348 848 ten thousand Yuan Renminbi in 1990.
