Peanut production in Japan: Stagnancy in 2017

U.S. Department of Agriculture published that peanut production remained the same in comparison with the prior year. The same as it has been for the last 2 year, the peanut production was 20 thousand tonnes. Japan saw a decrease of 82.61% in peanut production over the past 46 years. Likewise, it has had a rise at a 0.01 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a moderate overall fall since the 1972. It averaged 38.22 thousand tonnes from 1972 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 115 thousand tonnes in 1972 and record low of 16 thousand tonnes in 2010.
