Triticale harvested area in Canada goes down in 2017

According to new data released by Canada National Statistical Office, in 2017 the indicator dropped by 24.69 percent. Triticale harvested area diminished by 4 000 hectare, in comparison to the prior year when it rose by 60.4 percent. Canada saw a rise of 1 016.19% in triticale harvested area over the past 27 years. Besides, it has had a raise at a 0.01 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 17 614.56 hectare from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 41 700 hectare in 1999 and record low of 1 093 hectare in 1991.
