Flax yarn import climbed strongly by 33.48% in comparison with the previous year, new data from European Commission illustrate. The indicator went up greatly by 51 900 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 11.19 percent. The overall changes for the previous 13 years reached a raise of 393.79%. Still it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the five years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 168 123.08 kilogram from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 258 000 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 41 900 kilogram in 2005.
