Primary petroleum products supply and demand balance in Ecuador: Diminution in April 2018

JODI Data reported that the indicator diminished strongly by 242.86 percent compared to the previous month. Primary petroleum products supply and demand balance declined greatly from 7 thousand barrels per day to -10 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it decreased by 450 percent. The previous year, this fluctuation reached -120% and the variable attained 2 thousand barrels per day in April of the year before. When looking at the year-on-year situation, a -600 percent decrease can be noticed between April 2017 and April 2018. Ecuador saw a fall of 266.67% in primary petroleum products supply and demand balance over the past 9 years. Furthermore, the primary petroleum products supply and demand balance is now below average of -2.42 thousand barrels per day with a overall diminution since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 91 thousand barrels per day in November 2010 and record low of -41 thousand barrels per day in July 2009.
