Floor space of villas, high-grade apartments sold in China increases in 2017

Building starts climbed by 15.91% in comparison with the previous year, according to numbers published by China National Statistical Office. It reveals the all-time peak since 2000 as the indicator went up by 711.33 ten thousand square meter, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 28.18 percent. China saw a rise of 708.67% in building starts during the last 18 years. Besides, it has had a 0.07% CAGR during the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 3 129.98 ten thousand square meter from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 640.72 ten thousand square meter in 2000.
